Betsy wanted to see how big I am getting and wanted me to stand by Jack as visual measurement...so I spoke to Jack and he agreed to have the picture taken....for a treat of course...he always wants something for his efforts...smart boy...I am learning from the best

Jack lounging

Jack decided to lounge on top of the bed instead of under it....he too is mixing it up like I am....copy cat!!!

Usually I am on the top portion...but today I thought it might be a good idea to mix it up and hang out in the middle area....as you can see, I had an interesting time getting in there...

Cleaning out the Pantry

Gilbert always talks about cleaning out the Pantry...so I decided that I would assist him...we started on the first shelf.....then Gilbert got bored and left....at this rate...this could take all year to do.

Playing with Jack

I think Jack missed me when I was at the Vet...all he wanted to do was play when I got back...but I was a bit out of it that day...so we had to wait until the next day to commence our tuffling...yup..this is Jack's idea of tuffling.....I know I know.....not a lot of exertion on his part...

Jack in the Box

Even Jack wanted to play with the boxes....but I couldn't imagine him being able to get into them...with him being so big and all....now I don't know if he'll be able to get out....this may turn out to be his permanent home....

YEA...Boxes

Betsy was cleaning up in the basement the other day and found all of these great boxes....don't know why she wants to throw these away...they are great.....I can make a nice house out of these...and probably sell it for a great price..even in this economy...

So, where's my dinner plate?

Gilbert and Betsy were sitting at the table in the porch having dinner and I decided to join them....so where is my plate????huh!!!

POOPED

I didn't realize how tired I was going to be after my snip snip....I was in the middle of playing with my toy...then...snoozer time....

Snip snip time

It was time for me to get snip snipped, so says Betsy and Gilbert....so now there will only be one of me..and I think that is all the world can handle quite honestly...how much CUTE can there be in the world at one time

Alex's Birthday

Alex celebrated her birthday this weekend..and here I am...right in the thick of it...as always...wonder if she will give me a sip of that champagne...I mean..look how cute I look...how can she resist?? I love those bubbles....

So, after peaking my head out...I ventured out a bit more to see what was going on...looked a bit far down for me....and then before I knew it..Gilbert scooped me back into the house.....such an adventure I could have had....oh well....

Michael and Abby were outside and I wanted to know what was going on...they looked to be having a lot of fun with Lil Mang out there

Treat time with everyone

It can get really crazy around here in the morning when it is treat time..a lot of pushing and shoving....as you can tell by the out of focus pictures....it is survival of the fittest around here

Mercedes and the toy basket

Mercedes loves to play with the basket that the toys are in..not sure if she is just lying on them here or trying to keep me away from them...sometimes she can be very confusing..just like a woman....

Betsy had to do the laundry and Jameson decided to give her a hand....I thought that was very nice of her...always thinking of other people.....

Betsy is always talking about how important it is to work your core.....so here I am...working it!!!! This better do something....I feel ridiculous....

Education Time

This is me and Gilbert listening to a news video on his computer...he is always trying to keep me informed as to what is going on in the world....then we discuss what we have learned and his views about it as well as mine....this is our special time together

Surprise...it's me

Yup...just when you wanted to come in and brush your teeth..there I am....waiting.....and who says that the water bowl is the only way to get a drink....you gotta use your imagination sometimes....

The Pantry

Jack loves the pantry..that is where all the good food is kept...and Jack's favorite...plastic bags...he has never met a plastic bag that he didn't want to get to know and lick. When he least expects it..I attack.

Lounging

Jameson and McCallan do a lot of lounging around the house.....they especially like the rugs....after Betsy has vacuumed them of course...I guess they just want to keep her on her toes....

Welcome to my home

Jack welcomes cats and people into his room but only if you answer his questions right otherwise you won't be allowed in.....usually they are easy ones...like what are the favorite cat treats on the house and where are the best places to snooze....then there are the more difficult ones..like what is Betsy's favorite color and does Gilbert wear boxers or briefs.....

Friends came to Visit

So Alex's cats came to stay with me this week.....Jameson, the calico, really doesn't like to play that much, I think she feels that being here is a vacation from MacCallan...since he will chase me and not her while they are here....they come down to play during the day and then at night they go and stay in Alex's room. Betsy feeds them up there..with the door closed so I won't gobble up all of their food....but if they don't finish...and the door is opened...watch out.....the food bandito pounces

CHICKEN!!

There is nothing better than chicken......of course there is salmon, tuna, yogurt...but I digress...Betsy made chicken and wild rice soup today......I love the smell of the chicken cooking in the broth.....even Jack comes out from underneath the bed for this.....so there we are...waiting for it to be done......salivating at the thought of those delicious morsels falling to the floor waiting for me to gobble them up.....yes, I do gobble...poor jack...he is not a gobbler...he sniffs...looks...then eats....by that time, I have devoured his as well......snooze you lose..I always say.....
