Yep....Maddie came to visit again and I am not letting her out of my site...ever. She tried to rest on the couch but I am there...watching her every move. Everyone can rest easy 'cause I am on the scene.....

WHAT..another addition to the family

This is getting crowded now..and this new one is very rambunctious....and I would know since that is my territory..but she puts me to shame. Good thing she is cute. Just don't leave any food out.....anywhere....she will stop at nothing to get it. And they call her Dirty Bit....not sure why..she doesn't look dirty to me

Keep It Down.... we're busy working

Work Work Work..that is what we need to do and trying to keep Gilbert and Betsy focused is getting more and more difficult. That is why I bought this easel pad so we can keep our meeting notes in one place for everyone to see. And as you can see all Gilbert cares about is cocktail time.

Is this a new Kitty Litter or a House

Looks like a house to me but I think I am the only one that can fit into it. No room for Jack. he can get his own

Party pooped

Don't you just get so tired after a party? I do...so I decided to stretch out and take a little snooze. The foam topper on this bed is really the best..you gotta get yourself one.

Look, my present....no...not the hat!

This is really comfortable....molds to my body really nicely. Betsy pushed a button when I am on it..she says it tells her how much I weigh. Not sure why she cares. She put Jack in it...but I think he knew what it was for...so he ran away. Can you blame him? And yes..she is still trying with that hat...ugh...

Yes...it is my birthday again and we are playing the Hat game

Now I am 2...yup...getting up there....soon I will need a cane to get around. And of course, Betsy just can't help it with trying to get me to put on that hat. I figured if I eat it, it won't be back next year.

Jack wanted to know where the food was

After all, it is his birthday, so he went into the pantry to make sure we had enough. And all betsy wanted to do was make sure the hat was on straight...come on now.....FOOD...as you can see, the hat started to fall off...but I was there to assist. I know...I'm really helpful.

It's Jacks birthday today..he is 10

So tonight we got a lot of food and treats....I wish every day was jacks birthday....Jack liked it...not the hat...but that's what you got to do around here if you want a lot of treats and food....Oh, the price we have to pay for a party!

Dad redid his chair just for me

wasn't that nice...and I look soooo good on the blue. He, of course, gave me the don't claw the chair lecture.....who is he kidding.....but of course I said... absolutely, wouldn't hear of it....hehehehehe

And what is he doing on my perch? He looks like Lil Mang....but all he does is bounce around....doesn't say anything....and he has a ribbon attached to him....what is that about?

I am pooped...again

I know, there are a lot of pictures of me snoozing....but it's not my fault, betsy follows me all over the house with her camera and this is one of my favorite activities...wasn't it nice of her to put the comforter on the table for me.....I think so..I have her trained really well

I am King of the world

and I have the speaker to prove it...Gilbert always yells at me when I go up on it.....I think it's because that he can't fit on it so he is jealous...

Thank goodness we have big windows

I usually hang out in the window, but today Jack wanted to join me....I didn't think that we would both fit,( he is pretty big you know) but to my amazement, we did....he always wants to do what I am doing....it's good to be the leader....

My Bowl...

Betsy thinks that this is her bowl...but she left it out so ...snooze you lose pal. It fits me perfectly so that makes it mine...doesn't it? And I asked her why she left it on the couch....she said she didn't want to talk about it...hmmmm

What about me?

If I didn't know better, I would think that Alex likes Maddie better than me. But I know that is not true even if she is rolling around on the floor with her. I can roll too you know!

Back Off Maddie!

This is how I spent a good part of the weekend.....I didn't know that I had that much hissing in me. But I think that all Maddie heard was.."good girl..let's play" I think next time I need my own interpretor.

Rugs....yummy

Never tried this before....but leave it to Maddie to come up with it. There I was, just sitting on my little perch and then all of a sudden, Maddie decides to start eating the rug....maybe it tastes better than I would have thought..or....Maddie does not have a very discerning palate. But we have enough of them around the house so she will never go hungry.

Bark, play, run around,bark, play, run around

Seems thats all Maddie likes to do...after watching her I need a nap...and I can see out of the corner of my eye...so does Michael and Abby

Jack and 'cedes on protection detail

Jack and 'ecedes were taking turns protecting our kitty litter downstairs from Maddie. I kept telling them that Maddie doesn't like to go on the stairs yet,,,but they didn't trust that intelligence! But don't they look menacing, total cat mafiosa!

That's Abby's soda!!!

Maddie decided that a little soda might be a good idea instead of just always drinking water so she took Abby's soda. Those are fighting words to Abby...No One touches her soda and lives to tell about it....I tried to tell Maddie that but as you can see, she didn't listen to me.

A coat....really!!!

So they went out and bought Maddie a coat. Said that it was too cold for her outside..I don't need a coat, I have a really good one already built in...or rather on. So is this what they mean by someone being "high maintenance"?

OK, What is it???

Michael and Abby brought it with them when they came last weekend. It runs around a lot and makes a lot of noise. Jack's reaction to it was to dive underneath the bed and stay there. Typical! They say her name is Maddie....not that she answers to it. And what's with the necklace!!!

Can I subscribe to this magazine?

I turned on the TV and this is what was showing...looks really interesting. Betsy came in and turned it off...said it was inappropriate for my age.....whatever that means. Sometimes she can be such a Debbie Downer

I think I need a bigger bed!

I keep telling Gilbert that the bed is too small...he keeps saying that it fits him just fine. He doesn't realize that I am bigger than he is. Gilbert still wants to believe that he is the tallest one in the house...poor Gilbert...denial is a very strong emotion.

Abby drinks these all the time when she is here so they must be good. There is one left and it is all MINE!

Another find from Alex....a new Blanket

This has to be the most comfortable blanket of all time...and don't I look regal on it? I made sure Betsy made it small enough just so I could fit on it...and NO one else could (Jack)

My New Chair

Alex brought this with her the other day. She said she didn't have any room for it in New York...boy, did I luck out...Gilbert says that this chair provides very good back support..I couldn't agree more...
