All to myself

Finally I have the Cat perch all to myself.....

Mercedes and Jack

Thought you all would like to see Mercedes... (she is the one on the left) she comes to visit with Michael, Abby and Lil Mang....she really doesn't play with me at all.....actually she ignores me...all she wants to do is hang with jack...they have been best buds for a long time now.....so they spend a lot of time under the bed together...they sometimes let me hang with them under there.....thank goodness it is a queen size bed....

Look how Big I am getting

See....I am really getting big now.....I feel powerful....and regal.....as you can tell by my pictures...I wanted Betsy to capture the energy that I am feeling these days....and I think she did a good job....for a human that is....now where's my crinkle ball????

Cat tree is getting a bit smaller

or maybe I am getting bigger....had to push Jack into the corner of it so I could have some room

Sometimes you gotta go to the Mountain

especially when it won't come to you...so when I want to spend some quiet time with Jack....I always find him under the bed.....so..that is where you can find me at times.....

NEW TOY

I got a new toy for Xmas.....a Crinkle Ball.....I love it.....I can bat it around...carry it with me wherever I go..and it makes crinkle noises as I do so......I still keep losing it under things...thank goodness Betsy follows me around so she can always get it for me....

My sweater on Lil Mang

Michael, Betsy's son, and his fiance Abby, just couldn't help themselves and had to try my sweater on Lil Mang.....I don't think Lil Mang was really enthusiastic about it...but he was a good sport....sort of.....then we had to quickly take it off him...I hope he didn't stretch it out...

Jack tries on my sweater

So jack saw me in my sweater.....I didn't keep it on for long.....and Betsy said that he wanted to try it on...I don't think that is true...but whom am I to say.....so, the only way that he could wear it was to put it on him...since he is soooooo big...so I don't think I have to worry about Jack borrowing my clothes any time soon....

Xmas Time

Not sure what this Holiday means besides dressing me up in stuff......so Betsy and Gilbert go to get me some food from my favorite place...Chez Pet......and they come back with this thing....not sure what the purpose is....my fur seems warm enough to me...plus I don't think I look right in such a high collar..I think a "V" neck would be better

Toys

One of the things that I really like to do is play....napping is good too....but playing is the best....Betsy got me this play stick that I love to nibble on.....I also have this furry bell thing on a stick that I really likke to carry around the house with me..since I never know when I am going to want to play with it..so it is important to have it around at all times.

They also have this cherry ball toy that I bat around a lot....but I keep getting it stuck under the couch....I make Betsy crawl around on her knees a lot freeing my toys from the evil couch...

New friends came on Thanksgiving

So it is Thanksgiving weekend....at least that is what they told me...not sure what this means...all I know is that new people came into the house and they brought their cats.....one of them is a really nice orange one...they call him "Lil Mang" ( his real name is Oliver) he has been chasing me all over the house....and we are having a blast....the other one looks a bit like Jack..her name is Mercedes...but she is very aloof...so I'll keep playing with Lil Mang...

I can fill these slippers....if I tried

So, Gilbert leaves his slippers around the house...so I wondered what it would be like if I wore them for a day....since he seems to really like them, they must be comfortable....right?

A another place to nap

Jack has this great cat tree that he takes a nap on....and I wanted to try it....at this point there is room for us both...not sure what will happen in a few months....but for now...it is cuddle time

A New Friend????

Not sure who this is but Gilbert brought him home the other day after he and Betsy went to the city....am I suppose to play with it? It is almost as big as me....it doesn't do much....confused!!!!

So Sleepy

After a big day running around and exploring..it is time to cuddle up and take a snoozer...and what better place than Gilbert's robe

Reading the news

So, Gilbert really likes to find out was is going on in the world by reading on his computer.....he is trying to get me to understand what is going on as well....but I don't find it very interesting...I like it better when he plays his games on it....I like that little arrow thing that goes around the screen...

Sleepy after the first day

Boy was I tired after my first day...so much to look at and explore...so what better place to nap but on Gilbert's neck...can't imagine what he will think about this pose when I weigh 20 lbs.....

Learning the computer

OK...so Gilbert loves the computer and tried to get me to like it as well.....all I wanted to do was sit on it....it looked really comfortable and it highlights my colors very nicely.......I don't think this is what he was thinking about when he started my computer lessons..

Stewie and Jack

So, the first day went well.....Jack spent most of his time running away...then sneaking back into the room to do a little sniffing...then running under the bed again....I wasn't sure what to make of it...especially since I had just come from a household with lots of kittens who wanted to play.....but eventually...Jack came out to sit.....so our relationship started....boy is he BIG!!!

Welcome Home Stewie

On the way home they told me that they already had one cat...Jack.....who is 9 years old.....and spends mosts of his time under the bed. So, I thought it might be fun to rock his world a bit....so enter me.....all of the other cats in their family are Norwegian Forest Cats.....but they always wanted to have a Maine Coon....so they searched the web and found a great breeder near where they lived.....and before I knew it....it was time for me to go....

When I first saw them...all I wanted to do was climb out of the carrier that I was in.....I weighed 2 lbs and couldn't wait to play with my new friends

Now the adventure begins......
